Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales, or a related field within the B2B software industry
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly learn and articulate the value of complex software solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting sales efforts and driving revenue growth
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective pre-sales strategies
  • Ability to travel as needed to support sales efforts and attend industry events

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Consultants, ensuring their ongoing professional growth and success
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, providing expert guidance on product positioning and value proposition
  • Oversee the entire customer engagement lifecycle, including discovery calls, product demonstrations, and presentations, to effectively address customer needs and drive sales
  • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to the Solutions Consulting team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to drive results
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the Solutions Consulting process, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new Solutions Consulting, ensuring their readiness to become trusted advisors to customers
  • Present persuasively to senior customer personnel, clearly articulating business value and conveying a credible understanding of Nextiva technology

Preferred Qualifications

An MBA or advanced degree is a plus
