Summary

Join Pair Team as Director of Strategic Operations and drive impactful initiatives to expand care access and improve outcomes for underserved populations. Lead mission-critical projects from conception to launch, shaping company strategy and delivering results. This highly cross-functional role directly influences how Pair Team scales its model and serves complex patients. You will be a strategic leader and hands-on operator at a fast-growing, mission-driven company. This is a fully remote position reporting to the SVP of Central Operations. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, consulting, or healthcare delivery
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-growth healthcare companyโ€”preferably one serving Medicaid or Medicare patients in a value-based care model Ideally, including Medicare risk adjustment and/or revenue cycle management
  • Proven ability to lead large, ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from 0 to 1
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set priorities, create structure, and drive execution across teams
  • Analytical mindset with systems-building instincts and a track record of driving execution
  • Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levelsโ€”able to lead high-level planning while rolling up your sleeves to get things done
  • Strong desire to work in an early stage startup environment that is fast paced, complex, and has minimal barriers to make decisions (no โ€œred tapeโ€)
  • Passion for helping individuals experiencing complex chronic needs such as homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-priority operational initiatives from conception to completion
  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects, such as new market launches and strategic value-based care programs, for example
  • Diagnose and resolve operational bottlenecks by bringing in new capabilities and tools
  • Act as a nimble, generalist problem-solver who can deploy quickly and effectively to the most urgent, high-leverage opportunities across the organization
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align on goals, measure outcomes, and iterate on programs
  • Build scalable systems that support growth and improve performance of both clinical and non-clinical teams
