Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in wholesale or expedition travel
  • Experienced with Salesforce, Seaware, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication abilities
  • Understanding of the expedition travel market, including trends and challenges
  • Strong skills in time management, handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • The ability to work independently as well as with others in a team environment
  • Must be able to travel 50-75%, and work remotely (home-based position)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the expedition segment’s wholesale accounts
  • Identify and engage new wholesale clients within the expedition and adventure travel markets
  • Foster strong relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the VP, Sales -National & Strategic Accounts and other stakeholders to establish sales goals and revenue targets
  • Serve as the key point of contact for major wholesale clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Conduct regular business reviews with wholesale partners to align on goals, share performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities
  • Address and resolve any client issues to maintain partner satisfaction
  • Manage contract negotiations and ensure alignment with financial objectives and company policies
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present sales forecasts to senior leadership
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the expedition segment
