The salary range is $90,000-$110,000 annually, plus an annual bonus based on performance.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in wholesale or expedition travel
- Experienced with Salesforce, Seaware, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication abilities
- Understanding of the expedition travel market, including trends and challenges
- Strong skills in time management, handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
- The ability to work independently as well as with others in a team environment
- Must be able to travel 50-75%, and work remotely (home-based position)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the expedition segmentβs wholesale accounts
- Identify and engage new wholesale clients within the expedition and adventure travel markets
- Foster strong relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and revenue growth
- Collaborate with the VP, Sales -National & Strategic Accounts and other stakeholders to establish sales goals and revenue targets
- Serve as the key point of contact for major wholesale clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Conduct regular business reviews with wholesale partners to align on goals, share performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities
- Address and resolve any client issues to maintain partner satisfaction
- Manage contract negotiations and ensure alignment with financial objectives and company policies
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present sales forecasts to senior leadership
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the expedition segment
