Dispatch Coordinator

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally
• Ability to take clear and concise messages
• Proficiency in following both written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Must have a reliable mode of transportation
• Availability to work weekends, as this position requires shifts on Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and manage data within the operating system
• Perform order execution, including generating and maintaining paperwork
• Record customer calls, log data, and communicate with the sales staff
• Coordinate and confirm trucking schedules, including pick-up and delivery details
• Verify case counts and temperature compliance
• Monitor weather and road conditions to anticipate and address potential delays
• Utilize mapping tools to assist with route planning and directions
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email, ensuring excellent service
• Follow standard operational procedures to optimize workflow efficiency
• Work collaboratively with multiple offices and manage divided responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are a plus. (Spanish speaking)
• Experience with technical software is a plus
• General knowledge of maps, highways, and logistics is preferred
• Previous experience in logistics management is a plus
