Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience developing email marketing programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field
  • Great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or HubSpot, and CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Experience creating and managing dynamic content for personalized campaigns
  • Strong project management and eagerness to learn new skills
  • Creative and empathetic thinker; you care deeply about our customers and can build precise targeting as well as delightful, on-brand experiences
  • Enjoy problem-solving and testing first-of-a-kind initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Drive email performance aligned with key top-line business KPIs such as pipeline creation, win rate, and customer retention
  • Monitor and maintain email deliverability and sender reputation to ensure optimal campaign performance
  • Project manage email programs from start to finish
  • Create responsive live-text and image-based emails, including (but not limited to) dynamic content blocks, merge fields, UTM parameters, and other customization resources
  • Design scalable, automated nurture programs that drive long-term engagement across our database
  • Apply email best practices and rigorous testing to ensure that conversion metrics are met and our brand is communicated effectively
  • Partner with design and content teams to develop campaign assets that align with our brand guidelines
  • Utilize Marketo to build, ship, and analyze email sends with the support of Knak for email building and approvals
  • Continuously analyze, scrutinize, and test hypotheses to drive results, including target segmentation and A/B creative testing
  • Own email QA from audience targeting and design rendering to email functionality
  • Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders across the organization on email projects, ensuring accuracy and on-time deliverability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email
  • Experience with multi-variate testing
  • SQL/analytics experience
  • Copywriting skills with a strong focus on B2B communications
