Requirements

  • 5+ years experience executing Email Marketing Specialist tasks or similar in direct-to-consumer ecommerce
  • 1+ years of experience managing international teams to orchestrate project deliverables
  • Excellent eye for design & copywriting and content creation skills for engaging emails
  • Execute effective email campaigns, utilizing segmentation and A/B testing
  • Agency experience in managing email marketing campaigns for diverse clients, and strong Project Management Skills
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, B2C, or digital marketing
  • Deep understanding of customer lifetime value and how to deploy insights within the email/sms channel
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and HubSpot (or similar platforms) with a strong understanding of email deliverability and metrics
  • Demonstrates clear adoption and innovation utilizing A.I
  • Familiarity with GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations for compliance
  • Comfortability of manually extracting insights from data
  • Knowledge of lifecycle marketing and customer journey mapping
  • Familiarity with SMS marketing strategies

Responsibilities

  • Providing timely responses via Slack and email during expected working hours
  • Proactively sending deliverables to the team or manager, allowing ample time for feedback before presenting them to clients
  • Recognizing when issues are blocking teammates or clients and prioritizing accordingly
  • Ensuring that weekly priorities do not require significant edits from the manager
  • Actively participating and adding value in internal meetings
  • Taking notes on ClickUp tasks after meetings, including next steps or insights for tracking
  • Being fully attentive and engaged in client meetings regardless of whether 'having the floor
  • Directly overseeing strategy and execution for 7+ clients, prioritized by support level
  • Creating meeting agendas and running email-related meetings in coordination with the Client Success Managers, while also pulling performance reports for clients
  • Proficiency in orchestrating contractor execution resources
  • Providing ongoing optimizations and recommendations for automations, including building a comprehensive annual automation strategy plan for each client in line with C-suite goals
  • Demonstrating proficiency in planning, executing, and measuring experiments and A/B tests
  • Keeping up with industry knowledge and best practices, with a deliverable of quarterly innovation experiments to be replicated across client accounts
  • Proactively strategizing campaigns and analyzing email data to maximize future campaign performance, requiring minimal edits from the manager
  • Overseeing and managing email automation across all client accounts, including setting up automations based on the customer journey and monitoring their performance
  • Understanding tracking events, product feeds, profile fields, and integration setup within Klaviyo and its use in automations and segmentation
  • Delivering 2-3 recommendations to CSMs per client for Quarterly Business Reviews, reviewed by the Email Manager
  • Sharing updates on ongoing work and future plans with clients using performance data, empathetically coaching clients and persuading them effectively to adopt suggested actions
  • Communicating the impact of other ecommerce channels on clients' email/sms campaign performance to clients
  • Successfully onboarding clients to new ESPs and supporting the integration process
  • Capably answering client questions independently about email strategy and performance
  • Contributing to internal documentation and processes, iterating current SOPs
