Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in employee relations across Europe preferably in a fast paced tech company operating within Germany
  • Solid understanding of business operations and the ability to translate business strategy from a people perspective
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Proactive, detail oriented and able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights for improvement
  • Experience in developing people managers
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience using Workday

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace-related issues, concerns or conflict
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and team leaders on employee relations matters, including performance management and conflict resolution
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs to improve employee engagement, satisfaction and retention
  • Develop the skills of our People Managers through training and development in European employee related matters including diversity, inclusion, communication and conflict resolution
  • Act as a mediator or facilitator in resolving disputes or conflicts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across the People Teams to contribute and shape team projects
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
  • Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues
  • Manage employee discipline and performance improvement processes
  • Partner with the People team and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives
