Summary

The Energy Efficiency Program Manager at ICAST is responsible for managing relationships with utility companies, government staff, and other stakeholders to develop and manage energy efficiency programs. The candidate should have at least 3 years' experience in managing Utility DSM or Government WAP programs and proven program management abilities. The position offers a compensation of $80,000/yr DOE and benefits including company health, dental, and life insurance plan at no cost for the employee (with charges for spouse and family coverage), available vision and short-term disability insurance, 403b retirement savings plan available on day 1, unlimited PTO plan, and ICAST being a qualifying employer for Federal public student loan forgiveness.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience managing Utility DSM or Government WAP Programs
  • Proven Program Management abilities i.e., ability to get work done by team members who are not direct reports

Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with utility companies, Government staff, and other stakeholders in developing and managing EE Programs
  • Guiding and facilitating internal ICAST activities as necessary to meet assigned EE Program goals
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for energy data, incentives, and other stakeholder requests
  • Providing oversite for any changes to EE Programs
  • Presenting reports for program updates, annual strategic plans, Management updates, etc
  • Making program changes to bring program back on track if its not meeting goal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of utility rebate processes, especially custom rebate programs
  • Deep understanding of DOE’s Weatherization requirements and processes
  • Building Science Knowledge
  • Understanding of 3rd party M&V programs
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite of Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Innovative & Flexible
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Passionate about environmental, social, or non-profit work
