Energy Markets Intern

Summary

Join Voltus as an intern and become an expert in demand-side resources in energy markets. This role offers the opportunity to support internal tool development, assist with daily market activities, and improve your analytical and operational skills. The internship can be full-time or part-time, and Voltus will work with you to expand your knowledge of the energy industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and coding experience in Python, SQL, or a similar language are required. Voltus is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Proficiency at Microsoft Office – in particular Excel
• Python, SQL or similar coding experience required

Responsibilities

• Desire to become an expert in understanding the role of demand-side resources in energy markets
• Support internal demand response market tool development
• Assist with day-to-day market activities including registrations, dispatches and settlements
