Summary

Laminar Projects is a growing construction software and project management consultancy firm that aims to improve the way construction projects are delivered using technology, processes, and common sense. They are looking for a Business Development professional to spearhead their efforts in North America by developing new business strategies, forming relationships, and winning new projects.

Requirements

• Mastery: An excellent overall knowledge of the construction industry, regional markets, and market research skills to perform deep-dive analyses and investigations that uncover intelligence to shape sales and expansion strategies
• Communication: A confident and clear communicator who can build rapport with people from all backgrounds and at all business levels
• Leadership: You lead yourself proactively and lead others by asking the right questions and challenging them
• Impact: A track record of successfully managing a b2b service-based sales process from prospecting through to onboarding

Responsibilities

• Expand global reach and support growth through developing new business strategies, forming new relationships, and ultimately winning new projects and clients in North America
• Build genuine relationships with customers while guiding them through the buying process
• Develop and execute innovative new business strategies that really work
• Keep up to date with the latest sales & marketing systems and techniques, making recommendations on what we should be doing to stay ahead of the curve
• Expand industry knowledge continuously and help identify target growth areas and develop business plans
• Develop everyone around you, maximizing the development of your team personally and professionally
