Summary
Join Thrive, a rapidly growing technology solutions provider, as a M365 Implementation Engineer. You will be responsible for completing Thrive Projects for new and existing clients, ensuring customer project goals are met as defined in project plans. Working with Deployment Engineers, you will complete prerequisite tasks to activate Thrive service offerings. Collaboration with engineers, project managers, and clients is crucial for achieving objectives. This role involves implementing IT projects related to Office 365, Microsoft Endpoint Management, and email migrations. You will analyze client environments, present implementation plans, and ensure successful project outcomes. The position requires strong communication and time management skills.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-4+ years of Administrative and/or Project experience with Windows Server and related technologies
- 2-4+ years of workstation, network, and/or server support experience
- Experience with monitoring and remote management tools
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Implement IT projects related (but not limited to) the following: Office 365 Email and Communication services, Microsoft Endpoint Management, Email migration between HEX, Exchange, O365 and Google environments
- Ability to handle diverse computing environments in a wide cross section of business clients
- Analyze and document an unfamiliar client environment while assessing the quickest path to completion of project goals
- Work through the project process to reach a successful outcome by: Presenting implementation plans at technical kick off to inform the client of dependencies, requirements, potential conflicts, etc
- Working at direction of Engineering Management and Project Managers to complete engineering tasks in adherence to a formal project plan
- Assisting in completion of Support Handoff requirements to allow for long term maintenance by Thrive Service Desk
- Clearly and professionally communicate project plans, potential impacts and testing procedures to customers
- Track and manage time effectively to accomplish multiple ongoing projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using ServiceNow (or other project management software)
- Experience in ITIL methodology and change management processes
- Willingness to improve team process and contribute to team and company initiatives
