Join Remote's Engineering team as an Engineering Team Leader for IAM, responsible for managing a team of 3-5 engineers and overseeing all aspects of Identity and Access Management. You will guide the team's product development, provide technical expertise to the Product Manager, and actively participate in hiring and onboarding. This role requires senior-level experience in backend or frontend development, along with experience in IAM-related features. Requirements
- Track record of managing an engineering team of at least 2 people
- Senior-level experience in either backend development (Elixir/Phoenix) or frontend development (JavaScript/TypeScript/React)
- Experience with developing IAM-related features such as Role-Based Access Control, SAML/OIDC SSO, OAuth2

Responsibilities
- Manage a small product team of 3-5 engineers (backend and frontend)
- 30% of the time spent doing management work. Outside of that actively participates in product development in the their team
- Provide technical guidance to the teamβs Product Manager on the specificities of Identity and Access Management technology and systems
- Be involved in hiring processes for their own team and potentially help out their peers
- In addition to being involved in hiring, also being responsible for the onboarding process of new engineers
- By being the spokesperson for everyone in their team they are expected to manage the team dynamics and bring out the best in them
- Giving continuous and constructive feedback on all the things
- Helps the team to grow continuously as a group and is responsible for each direct reportβs career
- Provide guidance and coaching to the team

- The base salary range for this full-time position is USD 73,150 to USD 164,600
