Join TechChange as an Event Sponsorship Operations Manager to support the Global Digital Health Forum (GDHF) in Nairobi, Kenya. This part-time, contract position involves managing sponsorship fulfillment and operations, both remotely and on-site. Responsibilities include coordinating sponsor logistics, session planning, marketing assets, and post-event engagement. On-site duties include managing show flow and providing direct sponsor support. The role requires strong organizational and project management skills, exceptional client service, and experience in business development or a related field. Compensation is $40/hour USD, with travel to Nairobi covered. The position is remote with flexible hours, except for the on-site event in December.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in business development, client services, customer success, or a related field, ideally working with clients in the nonprofit, social impact, or global health sectors
- Demonstrated success in a client-facing role in at least 2 large-scale, in-person events
- Exceptional client-facing/customer service skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Excel/Google Sheets)
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support workflow automation
Responsibilities
- Develop templated agreements
- Facilitate contract execution
- Ensure timely invoicing to sponsors for streamlined revenue operations
- Coordinate sponsor assets (like logos and ticket codes)
- Manage session logistics
- Ensure alignment with the events team to prepare a seamless sponsor experience
- Provide direct sponsor support
- Coordinate exhibition booths, interviews, and main stage show flow to ensure sponsor visibility and satisfaction throughout the event
- Close out payments
- Share recordings and tailored reports
- Maintain sponsor engagement through thoughtful follow-up and content dissemination
