Requirements

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident using accounting software
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support in year-end audits for all entities across the group, liaising with auditors as required
  • Support month end accounts receivable process including the generation and issuance of sales invoices
  • Prepare daily cash flow projections and monitor bank balances
  • Conduct daily reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Provide support for the company’s travel booking system and ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Process and monitor corporate expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accurate financial records
  • Support budget process and provide detailed analysis
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of government returns (e.g., VAT) and Intrastat reports as required
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Provide ad-hoc financial and administrative support to the finance team
  • Support on finance-related projects as required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP Hana an advantage
