Requirements
- 2β4 years of experience in a hybrid technical/business role, ideally with
- A foundation in consulting, finance, or operations (e.g., strategy, FP&A, bizops)
- Hands-on experience in startups or tech-forward teams
- Fluency in spreadsheets and modern data tools (Excel, Equals, Snowflake, Notion, etc.)
- Obsessed with new technology, AI, LLMs, automation APIs, and AI agents, and how it can be leveraged to drive efficiency and business outcomes
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize autonomously
- Process and execution-oriented, with a proven ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation workflows to reduce manual overhead (e.g., invoicing, reconciliation, reporting)
- Evaluate, integrate, and maintain AI/automation tools that streamline financial and operational workflows
- Prototype and deploy lightweight LLM-powered agents (e.g., GPT, Claude) to automate internal operations or decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, ops, and other functions to identify and act on high-impact automation opportunities
- Build and maintain scalable internal reporting systems using modern tools and APIs
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with dynamic, data-driven models
- Assist with board, investor, and audit reporting, streamlining data collection and improving quality through automation
- Ensure data accuracy by partnering with external accounting providers and managing systems integrations
- Define and evolve real-time dashboards for company-wide metrics and OKRs
- Lead deep-dive analyses on business performance and operational bottlenecks
- Partner with team leads to deliver data solutions that improve decision-making
- Build lightweight internal tools (dashboards, scripts, mini-apps) to support cross-functional initiatives
- Own and run recurring workflows that keep the business moving, from invoicing and reconciliations to finance ops coordination
- Act as the operational glue across teams, surfacing blockers, driving accountability, and improving handoffs
- Step into ambiguous operational gaps, bring structure, and implement sustainable solutions without waiting for permission
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tools like LangChain, Zapier, Make, Retool, or internal tooling platforms
- Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL)
