Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles with progressive responsibility
- Proven experience in financial modeling, planning, analysis, budgeting and management
- Experience in the Aerospace-Defense industry as well as commercial SaaS experience
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Must be highly organized
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite tools
Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling: Own the Financial models the Company uses to forecast the financial performance of the company. Creative mindset in tackling issues. Develop enhancements to our existing models. Develop and maintain supporting sub models for headcount, sales team quota and commission planning. Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects. Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Help the company continue to grow its strong Aerospace-Defense base while preparing for major commercial SaaS growth
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks of the financial models. Identify and develop mitigation strategies. Assistance in future system implementations and process automation
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives
