Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as an Account Executive in SaaS sales (preferably in fintech or accounting) in high-velocity, transactional or product-led growth environments, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, while working cross-functionally and taking on substantial ownership
  • Skilled in handling high volumes of communication and engaging effectively with potential customers over calls, emails, and demos
  • Ability to optimize and adapt sales approaches, with a focus on repeatable processes and results
  • Able to clearly articulate product benefits, build rapport, and handle customer objections professionally

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product-led growth sales funnel by efficiently managing a pipeline of leads and accounts through the funnel
  • Define and manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting, to qualification, to close—ensuring a seamless customer journey and handoff to Customer Success
  • Develop and Test Sales Tactics: Experiment with new approaches and optimize messaging to create a repeatable, high-conversion process
  • Build a Sales Playbook: Develop and implement a comprehensive and repeatable sales playbook to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and drive revenue growth
  • Customer Engagement and Education: Understand customer pain points and communicate Puzzle.io ’s value, particularly to startup founders and small businesses with limited accounting expertise
  • Data-Driven Sales Management: Maintain detailed records in the CRM, analyzing sales metrics to refine sales strategies and report on success metrics to stakeholders
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with all GTM teams, including Product and Growth Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships, to align strategies and develop and execute revenue growth initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with accounting basics and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by startups and small businesses
  • Experience leveraging CRM (Salesforce or Hubspot) and other sales technology tools like sequencing platforms (Apollo, Outreach, etc.)
