Join Aurora Solar's FP&A team as a motivated Manager to drive the business forward through actionable insights. This highly visible role involves strategic business collaboration, budgeting/forecasting, and ad-hoc analyses. You will partner with cross-functional teams, own FP&A processes, and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, experience with financial planning tools, strong communication, and a deep understanding of SaaS business models and GAAP. Requirements
- Intense desire to deliver excellence in all things you do
- Advanced and proven knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience owning a financial planning tool (such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels throughout the company
- Attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to follow-through
- Ability to prioritize objectives in a fast-paced environment to ensure key deliverables are met in a timely manner
- Demonstrated knowledge of SaaS business models and experience in analyzing SaaS metrics
- Proficient understanding of financial statements and GAAP
Responsibilities
- Partner with and support strategic discussions with cross-functional business partners; help influence effective decision-making by providing valuable insights and building trust
- Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly and annual FP&A processes (e.g., management reporting, variance analysis, budgeting/forecasting) for your areas of focus
- Own continued improvements, maintenance, and model building
- Collaborate with Finance peers to define, implement and track performance metrics/KPIs to monitor business results and to drive stakeholder engagement and accountability
- Simplify, streamline, and automate FP&A processes, as well as make full use of forecasting and financial system capabilities that will allow us to continue to scale rapidly and globally
- Work with the accounting team on month-end close to derive accurate and timely reporting that helps identify variances from expectations and trends

Experience with data systems and / or Python, SQL, JavaScript
