Summary

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ franchise sales/business development
  • Recent experience as a full-time franchise developer
  • Experience selling single multi-unit franchises
  • A clear understanding of global markets and industry trends
  • A strategic negotiator and a strong communicator, with the ability to manage time-sensitive projects with little supervision
  • A proven deal closer in a full-cycle sales role
  • Franchise Industry experience required; service industry franchise experience preferred
  • The ability to spend the time developing relationships with the 'right candidates' and the openness and willingness to ensure there is a mutual fit between the franchisor and franchisees
  • A history of consistent employment with one brand for a number of years (demonstrating brand loyalty)
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities optimally
  • Ability to work as part of a very fast-paced business

Responsibilities

  • Own the full franchise development lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification to Discovery Day, legal execution, and handoff to onboarding
  • Drive single & multi-unit sales in priority markets in line with Sandbox VR’s development roadmap
  • Execute due diligence on prospects including financial vetting, experience alignment, and values fit
  • Conduct territory optimisation, whitespace analysis, and territory mapping to inform market prioritisation
  • Collaborate with real estate and operations teams to align franchise sales with site availability, LOIs, and launch timelines
  • Manage and nurture your sales pipeline using our CRM and supporting tools
  • Lead both inbound and outbound efforts, working warm leads while sourcing new high-quality operator prospects through strategic outreach
  • Partner with marketing to shape sales assets, amplify signings and openings, and align messaging with funnel stages
  • Track and report KPIs related to deal velocity, conversion, territory performance, and candidate engagement
  • Attend franchise development events and key real estate shows, representing Sandbox VR with professionalism and precision
