Freelance Digital Marketing Specialist

Summary

The job is for a Digital Marketing Specialist who will improve digital footprint, manage various digital marketing campaigns, and have 3 years' commercial B2B experience. The candidate should be skilled in web development, creative design, and digital marketing.

Requirements

• Very strong attention to detail – pixel perfection required
• Very strong written English language skills
• Google Adwords certified
• Creation of custom WordPress themes using Advanced Custom Fields and WooCommerce
• 3 years of WordPress experience, including plug-ins e.g. Honeypot, ContactForm7
• Excellent understanding of current accessibility and usability guidelines
• Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skillset
• Ability to produce clean, smart, cross-browser compatible code that can work across multiple devices i.e. responsive design
• Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with others within the business
• The ability to work on your own initiative, within a busy environment, delivering multiple simultaneous projects
• Proven experience building, rebuilding, or rebranding websites
• Confident in writing/amending code at a Theme/Plugin level

Responsibilities

• Website build, rebrand, update, consistent design/theme, SEO focus and technical support across both the primary sites and all of the ‘micro’ sites
• Produce visual assets for blogs, articles, case studies, and whitepapers
• Creation and ongoing management of the portfolio of Google PPC campaigns across primary sites and all of the ‘micro’ sites
• Development of multi-stage, cross-channel digital marketing campaigns
• Analysis and internal reporting of content marketing metrics, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console Technical content creation
• Liaise with partner companies and affiliates
• Deliver team tasks via project management software (e.g. Jira, Atlassian)
• Working with vendors to create and run co-marketing campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

• A dedicated secluded working space away from noise and any distractions
• Updated personal computer or laptop with webcam
• Stable internet connection of at least 5Mbps and a backup of a pocket WiFi or Mobile Data
