Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B sales development or business development leadership experience in a global B2B environment, including managing large global teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and motivate diverse teams
- Expertise in cyber-security, cloud and IT infrastructure, or related fields that require selling to IT and security professionals
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Proficient with CRM systems like Salesforce, platforms like Salesloft, and analytics platform like Tableau
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales development strategy β both inbound and outbound β to drive meetings, opportunities and pipeline growth, while keeping close rates high
- Leverage a data-driven, continuous improvement, and testing approach to optimize conversion rates and effectiveness through the funnel, while helping us further shift towards larger deals upmarket
- Attract, manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performing, multicultural sales development team of 55 people across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ regions to hit and exceed targets
- Ensure team efficiently and effectively qualifies inbound demand, working with marketing on the quality of leads and with sales to ensure adequate follow up
- Develop outbound strategies that maximize pipeline, particularly with Enterprise and upmarket accounts
- Review and optimize our tool and data stack in partnership with marketing and sales operations to maximize performance
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product counterparts to ensure that the sales development team effectively articulates SentinelOneβs value to customers, while also using sales conversations to inform our broader messaging
- Plan, forecast, and understand ramp adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively, while aligning with both the needs of sales and inbound demand from marketing
- Effectively manage paths for career development within the SDR function as well as to sales and marketing roles
