Summary
Join Thoughtworks as a Global Mobility Compliance Specialist and support the organizationโs global mobility function, focusing on ensuring compliance with business travel regulations. You will establish, maintain, and refine business travel compliance processes. Collaborate with other operational departments to foster alignment and synergy. Provide data and insights to inform business strategy and execution. Maintain and monitor internal systems to ensure policies and procedures remain current. Initiate service requests with external vendors and prepare documentation for travel compliance. Develop and maintain resources for employees, including intranet pages and guidance documents. Establish standardized global processes to support scalability and recommend process optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience with business travel compliance in the European Union (Posted Workers Directive - PWD)
- Minimum of one year of experience with immigration compliance and logistics in the EU and UK
- Competence in using Google Suite and eagerness to learn new tools and skills utilizing data and artificial intelligence
- Awareness of industry trends and developments
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and geographically distributed environment
- Strong dedication to customer service excellence
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality customer service delivery in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Results driven approach to execution of processes
- Collaborate with other operational departments (e.g., People Support, Payroll, Finance, Travel) to foster alignment and synergy
- Provide data and insights to Mobility Center of Expertise (CoE) to inform business strategy and execution
- Maintain, update, and monitor internal systems, including pipeline trackers and regional movement boards, to ensure policies and procedures remain current
- Initiate service requests with external vendors (e.g., relocation, immigration, tax)
- Document, report and monitor global mobility matters in the global management trackers (HRIS, spreadsheets, internal systems) including document upload, invoice verification, etc
- Prepare any documentation required to enable travel compliance, either internally or through external vendors
- Develop and maintain resources for Thoughtworkers, including Global Mobility intranet pages, email templates, and guidance documents
- Establish standardized global processes to support scalability, evaluate and recommend process optimization initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of US and other "non-EUโ immigration regulations
- Proficiency in German
