Global Sustainability Specialist

Summary

Join Cabify's Corporate Sustainability team as a Global Sustainability Specialist to lead global environmental initiatives. Design and implement Cabify's environmental strategy, aligned with corporate mission and Sustainable Development Goals. Lead global carbon footprint management, including data collection, reduction opportunities, decarbonization actions, and carbon credit acquisition. Ensure compliance with sustainability regulations, including European Taxonomy, CSRD, CSDDD, and other relevant legislation. Communicate with ESG analysts, investors, and stakeholders, reporting progress and commitments. Coordinate sustainability reports, ensuring international standards (GRI, TCFD, SASB). Drive cross-functional projects with environmental impact (e.g., electric mobility, circular economy). Collaborate with operations, technology, legal, and communication teams. Represent Cabify in sustainability and climate change forums and events.

Requirements

• Vocational to generate a real and lasting impact on urban sustainability
• +5 years of experience in environmental sustainability in companies, consulting or institutions, ideally in sectors such as transport, energy, technology or mobility
• Deep knowledge of ESG standards, regulatory frameworks and indicators
• Capacity for strategic analysis, systemic thinking and results-oriented approach
• Excellent communication, influence and stakeholder management skills
• High level of English (C1), both written and oral
• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields. Master's degree or postgraduate degree in corporate sustainability or climate change is valued

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the environmental/sustainability strategy of Cabify, aligned with our corporate mission and the Sustainable Development Goals
• Lead the management of the Carbon Footprint globally: coordinate the collection and verification of data, identify reduction opportunities, promote decarbonization actions and manage the strategic acquisition of carbon credits
• Supervise compliance with sustainability regulations, including European Taxonomy, CSRD, CSDDD and other relevant legislation
• Direct the interaction with ESG analysts, investors and key stakeholders, communicating our progress and commitments clearly and rigorously
• Coordinate the preparation of the Sustainability Report and ESG reports, ensuring international standards (GRI, TCFD, SASB)
• Promote cross-sectional projects with environmental impact: electric mobility, circular economy, waste management, energy efficiency, among others
• Collaborate closely with operations, technology, legal and communication teams to integrate sustainability into decision-making
• Represent Cabify in forums, events and sector alliances related to sustainability and climate change
