Summary

Join LI.FI as a People Operations Specialist and play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the employee lifecycle and experience. You will focus on pre- and onboarding processes, contracting, employee lifecycle management, and administrative tasks. This role involves strong collaboration with internal teams to improve the experience for both new hires and employees. The position requires relevant HR experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with German labor laws. Location in the EMEA region is mandatory. Requirements

  • Must be located in the EMEA region
  • Relevant experience in (international) HR, people operations, global mobility or payroll in Germany
  • Experience building and implementing employee onboarding/offboarding, engagement programs, and employer branding
  • Proactivity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems (ideally Hibob)
  • Understanding of German labor laws and employment regulations
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • A clear sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for tasks
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken) required in English and in German
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality to handle confidential data
  • Willingness to quickly and successfully embrace and adapt change

Responsibilities

  • Support and provide guidance for variety of HR-related requests and processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle in accordance with existing process documentation and HR policies
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Ensure accuracy/completeness of current and historical employee data (contracts, payroll, compensation/title changes) and own our HRIS
  • Review, update and maintain HR services documentations and processes with a focus on continued improvement
  • Develop, maintain, and update process documentation in the company handbook to enhance transparency and efficiency
  • Working on people and culture initiatives such as employee engagement learning and development, performance reviews, and more
  • Support other members of the team as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
  • Remote working experience is a plus
  • Experience with recruitment activities is a plus
  • Understanding of European labor laws is a plus
  • An understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency concepts is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus
