Requirements

  • Be enrolled in MIIS classes
  • Be located in the U.S
  • Possess excellent writing and analysis skills
  • Possess general knowledge of WMD nonproliferation issues
  • Possess knowledge of and experience in conducting scholarly research

Responsibilities

  • Work on databases, website publications, fact sheets, and analytical issue briefs
  • Geolocate WMD facilities worldwide
  • Develop country and entity profiles
  • Collate images of missiles and other WMD-relevant objects while tracking sources and copyright restrictions
  • Develop case studies of illicit trade and procurement based on court cases etc
  • Maintain and provide content for a WordPress site related to trading compliance (export controls, sanctions, etc)
  • Contribute to ongoing projects
  • Pursue your own research in related fields
