Summary

Join Hostinger's Finance team as a Group Accounting Manager and contribute to the accuracy and clarity of our financial records. You will implement controls, support accounting teams, participate in audits and finance projects, prepare financial statements, and maintain IFRS compliance. Collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting and the wider Finance team. This role involves supporting accounting teams, leading finance projects, integrating IFRS standards, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, assisting with audits, developing accounting policies, and acting as a financial controller. Requirements

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 5+ years experience in a finance and/or controlling function
  • Knowledge of IFRS or capability to research, understand, and apply where needed
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical skills
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills to keep regular interaction with senior-level executives and other parties, both written and verbal
  • Team player with a proactive mindset, adaptable, and willing to learn
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills

Responsibilities

  • Support accounting teams in addressing new and ad-hoc financial cases, ensuring compliance with standards, and finding solutions
  • Lead or participate in various finance projects, and provide financial insights and support for the team as required
  • Integrate IFRS standards into the accounting framework, staying up to date with the latest developments and applying them strategically to improve financial reporting
  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
  • Analyze and review financial statements (both consolidated and standalone) to provide expert insights for the group and its entities
  • Assist with audits, helping resolve audit-related complexities and ensuring smooth communication with auditors
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Act as a financial controller, offering guidance and expertise to the accounting team
