Requirements
- A seasoned strategist with 10+ years of experience, ideally within a fast-paced agency setting with robust social experience
- This includes proven experience managing and developing strategy teams of 6+ people across multiple accounts or verticals
- You are a data-savvy systems thinker who can connect dots across clients, channels, and teams
- You have familiarity in social listening and analytics tools (e.g., GWI, Brandwatch, RivalIQ) with a solid understanding of data interpretation and reporting
- A passionate leader with high emotional intelligence (EQ) and a bias for mentorship and team growth
- You are a collaborative, solutions-oriented thinker who values mentorship and making the work smarter
- You have an executive presence and experience leading client engagements and strategic presentations
- You are equally comfortable crafting strategy and presenting it, with strong client rapport and the ability to influence decision-making
- An exceptional ability to merge data, culture, and creativity to tell brand stories on social media that resonate and drive results
- You are passionate about how AI is reshaping marketing and eager to lead the way in testing, learning, and sharing new tools and approaches

Responsibilities
- Own the strategic vision for the account at large and across multiple pods, ensuring cohesion, innovation, and performance excellence
- Serve as the lead strategic voice in high-stakes client engagements, partnering with the Group Creative Director and Group Account Director
- Shape and champion Movement’s strategic philosophy, balancing rigor, agility, and cultural insight with data-backed insight
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 8–10 strategists of varying levels
- Create systems for upskilling, performance management, and long-term career development
- Lead hiring and resource planning to support account growth
- Lead account-level planning and ensure all pod strategies ladder up to the larger vision in alignment with client needs
- Act as a strategic integrator across departments, connecting research, data, and creative to shape cohesive strategies and points of view
- Partner closely with creative teams to evaluate work, ensuring it ladders up to strategy, audience behavior, and measurable outcomes
- Set the standard for integrating social listening, analytics and cultural intelligence into strategic development
- Drive innovation by identifying and operationalizing new methodologies and ways of working to deliver best-in-class reporting and data usage
- Use your deep understanding of marketing data and business analytics to provide a clear interpretation of data requests including understanding client business needs and how data informs business objectives
- Be comfortable pulling data into digestible insights that guide creative direction, optimize campaigns, and shape performance reporting
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to our most senior clients and build enduring relationships based on trust, value, and vision
- Translate complex cultural, audience, and performance data into actionable and compelling strategic narratives
- Be the day-to-day strategic lead on one of the agency's largest accounts, owning the full strategic output from setting briefs and KPIs to translating performance insights into next-gen channel strategy
- Bring a deep interest in and practical experience with AI tools and automation, whether through trend identification, workflow enhancements, social listening, or new forms of storytelling
- Lead platform-specific thinking across various platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, guiding how brands show up natively on each platform
Preferred Qualifications

- Must communicate quickly and accurately, think quickly or improvise, and present confidently
- Familiarity with SQL and comfortable working in spreadsheets
- Should be a nimble self-starter and quickly adjust to internal and external teams in an ever-changing environment; identify opportunity with bias to action
