Group Product Manager

Summary

Join IOG's RealFi Tribe, a venture combining crypto/Web3/DeFi innovations with traditional finance, to build a marketplace for tokenized debt assets globally. As Group Product Manager, you will lead the development and execution of the debt management platform, supporting the Chief Product Officer in developing the Web3 protocol. This role requires extensive expertise in financial services, big data, and asset management, particularly in private credit and structured debt products. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, driving product initiatives, prioritizing features, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The position demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, technical acumen, and a user-centric mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Computer Science); strong quantitative and qualitative skills required
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Management / technical writing / formal methods)
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in credit and alternative investments
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring product teams, including direct people management
• Experience in asset management and fund structuring for private assets, including legal and tax considerations
• Familiarity with compliance requirements for cross-border fund flows and product jurisdictions
• Experience working in agile, high-growth, and tech-driven environments, ideally with exposure to blockchain or DeFi ecosystems
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and GitHub
• Hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle
• In-depth understanding of distributed computing, blockchain, and smart contract technologies
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and decentralized applications
• Knowledge of legal, tax, and regulatory considerations in private asset structuring
• Strong understanding of capital markets, private debt, and sustainable investment products

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product management of RealFi's debt management platform
• Support the Chief Product Officer in overseeing the Web3 credit protocol build
• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Drive the execution of product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs
• Prioritise product features, balancing technical feasibility, business impact, and regulatory considerations
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery
• Work with underwriters, investors, and legal teams to ensure compliance and optimal product structuring
• Define and monitor product metrics to assess performance and guide decision-making
• Oversee product release plans and manage post-launch iterations
• Engage with the RealFi user base to gather insights and refine product offerings
• Ensure seamless integration of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi) elements into the product

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred
• Product Management certification (e.g., CPM, AIPMM) is a plus
