Join Trek Travel as a Guide Operations Coordinator and play a key role in managing guide housing and travel arrangements worldwide. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with property owners, managing budgets, facilitating hotel processes, and handling guide travel logistics. This part-time, remote position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented approach. You will collaborate with global team members and contribute to the overall success of the Guide Department. Responsibilities

  • Own the Guide Housing standards & process for the Guide Department
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with property owners globally
  • Own Guide Housing budget and negotiations
  • Facilitate Guide Off-site Hotel process, where applicable
  • Responsible for Guide Travel program, handling flights and transportation
  • Direct liaison to Concur Solutions & Adelman travel partners
  • Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for monthly reporting of Housing & Travel goals and metrics
  • Assist in schedule creation and maintenance
  • Complete Guide Bookings 30 days out - input schedule data using Trek Travel’s booking system
  • Create reports on demand
  • Event planning and guide training event coordination, including occasional travel
  • Daily team correspondence via phone and email and scheduled weekly or bi-weekly check-ins
  • Work alongside team members around the globe
  • Cross departmental work and additional duties as required

  • Availability Monday-Friday - schedule may flex to include evening and weekend hours depending on time of year
  • Interest in the active travel industry
