Summary

Join Kraken as their Head of Business Operations and play a key role in driving strategic clarity, operational excellence, and cross-functional execution across their Consumer business, which includes Trading, Payments, Earn, and Equities. You will partner with the Head of Consumer and leadership across various departments to translate strategy into impactful action. This role requires architecting business reviews, owning high-priority projects, attending senior leadership meetings, and maintaining systems for KPI tracking and business reporting. You will also identify and launch new initiatives, create high-impact materials, manage external requests, and optimize workflows for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate possesses 5-7+ years of experience in high-leverage roles and excels at cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in high-leverage roles (BizOps, Product Ops, Strategy, Consulting, or similar) with a track record of leading complex initiatives and driving outcomes
  • Fluent in data, comfortable in ambiguity, and able to move fast while thinking clearly
  • You communicate with clarity and influence, adapting your message for executives, individual contributors, and cross-functional stakeholders alike
  • You’re highly organized and detail-driven, with a strong bias for follow-through and execution
  • You don’t wait for a roadmap — you build it, adapt quickly, and keep moving with confidence
  • You’re always looking for better ways to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, scale what works, and institutionalize best practices
  • You excel at working across product, engineering, legal, marketing, finance, and compliance — driving alignment without over-engineering process
  • You believe deeply in Kraken’s mission to accelerate financial freedom and inclusion through crypto

Responsibilities

  • Architect business reviews, operating rhythms, and internal forums that keep our fast-growing Consumer org aligned and focused
  • Own and deliver high-priority, often undefined projects that span multiple teams - especially the work that doesn’t fit neatly into a single org
  • Attend senior leadership meetings, monitor dashboards, review product plans - and act as a second brain to spot gaps, frame decisions, and move things forward
  • Stand up and maintain systems for KPI tracking, business reporting, roadmap coordination, vendor ops, and software capitalization
  • Partner with the Head of Consumer to identify, validate, and stand up new initiatives - from early concept to resourcing and initial execution. You’ll help shape the next generation of products beyond our current pillars
  • Drive the creation of high-impact materials - from board updates to all-hands decks to strategic memos - that bring clarity and visibility to the work
  • Be the first line of intake for external requests, triage them effectively, and ensure the right people are looped in or the work gets done directly
  • Help us scale not just what we build, but how we build it. You’ll identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and embed continuous improvement into our operating model
