Summary
Join TechInsights as the Head of Commercialization, Market Analysis and drive the identification, creation, and adoption of new products. You will transform custom projects into beta-tested product offerings, identify new products from existing datasets, and act as the lead evangelist with the sales team. This role requires strategic planning, market opportunity assessment, and collaboration with various departments. Success hinges on building organizational understanding and translating vision into actionable plans for successful product delivery. You will manage a team, develop new products, and ensure market readiness. The position demands strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Manages a team of professionals and or managers
- Implements functional plans, including business, production, and/or organizational priorities
- Decision-making is guided by Function/District objectives
- Impacts the business results of an area or sub-function by setting priorities, allocating resources, and developing policies and plans
- Guided by function policies, resource requirements, budgets and business plan
- Incorporates understanding of business objectives and strategies in recommending functional goals and operating plans
- Manages multiple related teams (minimum 3 direct reports)
- Sets organizational priorities and allocates resources; executes department business plans
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Requires a comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards and principles
- Identifies and resolves complex multi-dimensional business problems by looking beyond existing methodologies and own discipline
- Decision making involves researching, analysing, and evaluating data and using judgment in applying professional expertise
- Applies in-depth understanding of the business dynamics of own department/district integrates within the division
- Influences others internally and externally, including senior division executives, vendors, or regulators
Responsibilities
- Identify New Products: Utilize current and future data sets across TechInsights to identify new product opportunities
- Drive Transformation: Further the transformation of market analysis by turning TSS projects into beta-tested product offers, ensuring they are market-ready and meet customer needs
- Determine Market Opportunity: Define market opportunities with clearly identified target prospects and obtain Go/No Go decisions from Segment Leads and Senior Leadership Team
- Promote: Act as the lead evangelist with the Sales team to educate on new product offerings
- Sales Support and Product Promotion Message Creation: Craft value propositions, and hone messaging
- Target Identification: Work with sales team to develop prospects and maintain and develop senior level client relationships
- Education: Train sales team on product coverage and value proposition
- Content Creation and Deliver Playbook Development: Design and act as the primary customer stakeholder for the development of Playbooks to deliver newly productized offers
- Coordination: Work closely with the Head of End Market Analysis to ensure the capacity and capability for building and delivering new products
- Delivery: Ensure that processes are in place to define and measure the necessary stakeholders and their contributions so that ongoing product delivery is maintained according to agreed to timing and plans
