Summary

Join Vanta as the Head of Global Solutions Engineering and lead and scale our global Solutions Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role is crucial in driving Vantaโ€™s expansion into the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, including highly regulated industries. You will evolve and scale the Solutions Engineering function, build and manage a high-performing team, enhance demo capabilities, and strengthen the Account Executive & Solution Engineer partnership. You will also drive technical credibility in regulated verticals, establish best-in-class processes, and own key metrics related to technical win rates and implementation success. This leadership role requires a strong track record in technical sales and global team management within high-growth B2B SaaS companies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or sales engineering leadership roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies
  • Experience leading and scaling global teams in pre-sales and/or post-sales technical roles
  • Strong track record of working with Enterprise and Mid-Market customers, particularly in highly regulated industries
  • A hands-on leader who can both strategize at a high level and dive deep into technical challenges when needed
  • Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships across Product, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Evolve and scale the Solutions Engineering function to ensure a best-in-class technical sales motion
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of Solution Architects, responsible for onboarding and implementation of new Enterprise customers
  • Enhance our demo capabilities and technical value-selling framework to increase technical wins
  • Strengthen the Account Executive & Solution Engineer partnership, ensuring seamless collaboration for strategic sales motions
  • Drive technical credibility in Vantaโ€™s expansion into complex, regulated verticals such as financial services, healthcare, and SaaS enterprise security
  • Establish best-in-class processes, playbooks, and enablement to support technical wins and smooth implementations
  • Lead and scale a team of over two dozen Solution Engineers and Solution Architects across multiple regions
  • Develop and implement repeatable, scalable pre-sales technical processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Advance the Solutions Engineering practice by continuously improving technical validation processes, POCs, and demo strategies
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to refine Vantaโ€™s messaging, competitive positioning, and product feedback loop
  • Own key metrics related to technical win rates, implementation success, and time-to-value for Enterprise customers
  • Foster a high-performance culture, attracting, retaining, and developing top SE talent

Preferred Qualifications

Deep expertise in security, compliance, or enterprise SaaS; experience in compliance automation, cybersecurity, or GRC is a plus
