Join Aircall's Revenue team in Europe as their first Sr. Solutions Engineer, focusing on supporting the partnerships function and impacting the team and customers from day one. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Customer Relations, and Product, working closely with key strategic partners globally. You will scale the Aircall partner ecosystem, conduct technical assessments, provide training and resources, develop documentation, and drive revenue from partnerships. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, experience managing complex projects, and fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred. Requirements
- You are based in or near one of our EMEA offices (Paris, Berlin, London, or Madrid)
- You already have at least two years of previous experience as a Solutions/Sales Engineer
- English fluent
- You know the basics of at least one programming language (e.g. Javascript, Ruby, Go, Python, etc.)
- Understand the concepts of web servers and databases
- You have a proven track record of managing complex projects and several stakeholders with different backgrounds (you can convince the Head of sales and also talk tech with the PM)
Responsibilities
- Scale the Aircall partner ecosystem and their capabilities, including technical enablement and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with Aircall Partner Account Managers (PAMs) to close and build our ecosystem of new partners
- Conduct technical assessments of new partners to ensure alignment with Aircall’s objectives
- Provide technical training and resources to partners, enabling them to effectively position, sell, and/or support Aircall
- Provide technical product expertise (Aircall’s core offering, add-ons, and REST API) to partners who would like to build services on top of Aircall
- Develop integration guides, certifications, best practices, and technical documentation to empower partners to position and sell Aircall successfully
- Coach partners on delivering Aircall demonstrations, conducting discovery calls, and running trials or PoCs
- Drive and improve revenue generated from the partnerships channel
- Respond to technical and functional elements of RFXs and security questionnaires
- Co-pilot strategic opportunities referred from partners with Aircall Account Executives to qualify and successfully close
- Support partners in client-facing activities, including demos, discoveries, and trials/PoCs, to ensure deal success
- Supporting Aircall PAMs owning the partner relationships in becoming the “voice of the partner”
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner technical teams, offering ongoing guidance and consultation to foster collaboration and drive revenue growth
- Advocate for feature improvements provided by partner feedback in order to influence the Aircall product roadmap
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor and partner activities, and market dynamics to identify new partnership opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Having experience in either of these roles would be a strong plus: 1) Partnerships role working with VARs, MSPs, SIs, and resellers, or 2) Supporting a partnerships function in a pre-sales engineering role
- Having German, Spanish, and/or French would be a strong plus
