Requirements

• Proven experience (7+ years) in mortgage brokerage operations or a similar role
• Strong understanding of NMLS licensing and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (Encompass 360 or similar)
• Experience managing corporate filings and regulatory documentation
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Knowledge of third-party origination and consumer mortgage processing
• Must love dogs

Responsibilities

• Work closely with legal and compliance teams on formation of an LLC or INC and manage corporate filings in multiple states
• Coordinate NMLS filings for mortgage brokerage activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Oversee state and federal regulatory updates, manage quality control processes, and prepare for audits and examinations. Ensure the brokerage adheres to compliance policies set by Absolute Home Mortgage
• Oversee the mortgage processing workflow, application, and experience
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the mortgage brokerage division
• Develop and implement efficient workflows for loan origination, processing, and closing
• Create and manage systems to track loan applications, approvals, and disbursements
• Coordinate system integrations
• Scale team from QI, loan officers, etc
