Summary

Alcion, an AI-driven company specializing in data management solutions for cloud storage, is seeking a results-driven Head of Partnerships and Alliances to build and grow their Managed Service Provider (MSP) partner base and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in partnership, channel sales, or business development roles in the tech or cloud services industry, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in building successful partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership, channel sales, or business development roles in the tech or cloud services industry
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of achieving growth targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Player/coach who can hire and lead high-performing teams
  • Highly organized individual, with the ability to plan, execute, and pay attention to details without losing sight of the company vision and strategy

Responsibilities

  • Define our partner strategy and develop monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs to track execution
  • Develop and execute strategies to recruit, onboard, and nurture MSPs and other resellers
  • Establish strong executive-level relationships with key strategic partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create partner enablement programs, joint collateral, partner value propositions, and joint GTM motions
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing insights and strategies to optimize results
  • Represent Alcion at partner events and conferences, enhancing our brand presence in the market

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, SaaS, and data protection solutions is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Direct experience with the Microsoft ecosystem and/or a strong background in backup technology solutions
  • Experience running customer or partner advisory boards
