Summary

Gusto is seeking an experienced Product leader to oversee its HR Product suite and team within the People Platform. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for all HR-related products and services, leading a cross-functional team, understanding customer pain points, devising solutions, and iterating through prototyping and frequent product launches.

Requirements

• Possess 10+ years of hands-on product development leadership or General Manager (GM) experience within an R&D team in a modern technology business
• Direct prior product leadership over solutions focused on human capital management (HCM)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the business and our HR product suite from end to end
• Create a long-term vision and strategy that defines the big HR problems we can solve well with durable competitive advantage
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team of Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Data Scientists (EPDD)
• Understand customer pain points, devise solutions, and then iterate through prototyping and frequent, successful product launches

Benefits

• Cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $214,000 to $246,000 in Denver & most major metro locations, and $251,000 to $289,000 for San Francisco, New York, & Seattle
• Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week
