Requirements

  • Hold a degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, industrial engineering or an MBA; or have a clear affinity for tech topics
  • Have significant relevant professional experience in B2B SMB sales - ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Have experience in leading and growing a team as well as the proven ability to coach and develop a sales team on all aspects of the sales process - from lead gen to pipeline development and closing business
  • Bring experience as a top-performing individual contributor in a new business role and a track record of successful projects
  • Be proficient with CRM tools like Hubspot or Salesforce and be familiar with sales and marketing automation systems (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Make decisions analytically, be numbers-oriented and focus on growth
  • Be a team player with exceptional communication skills
  • Be a positive, creative, out-of-the-box thinker who loves their job
  • Be fluent in both English and German
  • Have prior experience as a Head of Sales

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all sales activities and achieving sales targets
  • Recruit, build, and develop an outstanding team of Account Executives (AE)
  • Generate pipeline, acquire customers, and build a sustainable network through good relationship management
  • Think entrepreneurially and continuously optimize sales processes and the usage of the CRM system (HubSpot) by the Sales team
  • Recognize the personal potential of team members, lead by example, and help them develop
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the operational performance of the team
  • Assume revenue and budget responsibility for your team
