Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on SEM experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams
- Proven track record of managing large-scale SEM campaigns with multi-million-dollar budgets across multiple industries or geographies
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other PPC platforms
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from performance data
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a passion for coaching and developing talent
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic and hands-on mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of SEM Team Leads, providing guidance, support, and clear direction to foster growth and high performance
- Drive a collaborative and results-oriented team culture focused on innovation, testing, and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide actionable feedback, and identify training opportunities to enhance team capabilities
- Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies to drive traffic, leads, and revenue for multiple projects
- Align SEM strategies with overall business and marketing objectives, tailoring approaches for different industries and project requirements
- Own and monitor key SEM metrics such as ROI, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates, ensuring profitability and efficiency
- Supervise the performance of paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other PPC channels
- Approve campaign structures, ad creatives, bid strategies, and keyword targeting to ensure consistency and alignment with strategic goals
- Collaborate with the analytics team to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and uncover actionable insights
- Standardize workflows and campaign management processes across the team to ensure operational excellence
- Stay updated on SEM trends, algorithm changes, and new platform features to implement innovative solutions
- Drive automation initiatives and leverage tools like Google Ads Scripts, SA360, or third-party platforms to maximize efficiency
- Partner with content, creative, and analytics teams to ensure campaigns are data-driven and optimized for conversion
- Work closely with project stakeholders to align SEM strategies with overall marketing objectives and project goals
- Coordinate with finance teams to ensure accurate budget tracking and adherence to financial targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications are a plus
- Expertise in SEM tools and technologies, including Google Analytics, SA360, SEMrush, and bid management tools
