Requirements

  • Proven experience leading talent acquisition in a high-growth, fast-paced start-up. You’ve been responsible for scaling a company from ~75 to ~200!
  • Full-cycle recruiting expertise: comfortable owning end-to-end processes across a range of functions and levels, especially software engineering
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution chops: able to set the vision and roll up your sleeves. Excited by the opportunity to level up a strong foundation and shape what great looks like
  • Strong problem solver and operator: You’re the type of human that comes with solutions to the table, not problems. You can optimize tools, workflows, and tech to drive efficiency and clarity

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment function: Guide and support the recruitment team, setting clear priorities and ensuring alignment with PolicyMe’s hiring strategy and business objectives. Be responsible for both the strategy and execution — meaning you’ll own roles and run recruitment processes, while also serving as the functional leader. As we scale, you will be responsible for further building out your team
  • Own and optimize hiring strategies: Develop and oversee structured hiring plans that translate company growth goals into actionable recruitment targets, regularly adjusting to match shifting business priorities and workforce capacity
  • Serve as a strategic talent partner: Build strong, consultative relationships with leadership, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to implement a structured, competency-driven hiring approach that reflects PolicyMe’s culture and high standards
  • Elevate the candidate experience: Craft and oversee interview and onboarding processes that are engaging, efficient, and reflective of PolicyMe’s commitment to excellence, ensuring every candidate walks away with a positive impression
  • Develop a high-impact, scalable recruitment engine: Design a recruiting framework that consistently attracts top talent while proactively expanding PolicyMe’s candidate pipeline through a mix of inbound and outbound hiring strategies
  • Drive workforce planning and data-driven hiring: Lead talent forecasting efforts, leveraging analytics and recruitment metrics to track performance, optimize hiring outcomes, and make real-time adjustments to hiring strategies
  • Optimize recruitment tools and technology: Maximize the use of our ATS, AI-powered hiring solutions, and other recruitment technologies to enhance efficiency, streamline hiring processes, and provide deeper talent insights
  • Use market insights to stay competitive: Continuously research talent market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring strategies to refine our approach and attract the best candidates
  • Strengthen PolicyMe’s employer brand: Collaborate with Marketing and the People Team to launch employer branding initiatives that showcase PolicyMe as an employer of choice for top-tier talent
  • Expand recruitment programs and partnerships: Lead initiatives like university hiring, internship programs, industry events, and community partnerships to build a strong talent network and increase PolicyMe’s visibility in the market
