Summary
Join our team as a part-time HR/Safety Coordinator, working remotely (CA-based preferred) with flexible hours. You'll advise clients on safety requirements, provide administrative support to our HR team, and manage projects. This role requires strong communication, detail-orientation, and OSHA 30 certification. We offer a collaborative environment and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, and sick pay. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in workplace safety and health, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Morning availability is required.
Requirements
- Possess a keen eye for detail and organization
- Be OSHA 30 Certified
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Be a phenomenal written and verbal communicator
- Have 2-3 years minimum of recent work experience and knowledge of workplace safety and health program requirements including IIPP, WVPP and HIPP, and various OSHA reporting requirements
- Have experience providing guidance on OSHA, safety, and compliance standards and best practices
- Take a proactive approach and be hyper aware of your responsibility to client commitments
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, understanding the importance of accuracy and timeliness
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Thoroughly enjoy problem solving and demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidence while doing so
- Have experience working with a small team of decision-makers, with a focus on collaboration and openness
- Proactively stay up to date on the latest OSHA changing requirements so that you can keep clients informed and in compliance
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on safety requirements
- Provide administrative support to our Human Resources consultants
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with teams
- Respond to safety questions
- Conduct zoom calls with clients to gather company specific information
- Customize safety or other HR related templates based on client specifications
- Conduct trainings for our internal staff
- Complete deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Be a CA-based candidate
- Have direct and recent experience advising CA based companies with OSHA compliance
