Summary
Join Honest Networks as our HR Administrator and provide crucial operational HR support to our growing team. This in-house role, previously handled by a third-party firm, manages daily HR tasks, ensuring smooth operations across all departments. You will be responsible for employee records, recruitment support, benefits administration, HR documentation, payroll assistance, employee relations, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong communication skills. This full-time position is primarily remote, with occasional office presence in Lower Manhattan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as an HR operations associate, HR Administrator, Head of HR or in a similar administrative role
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Google suite applications and HRIS/ATS software (Justworks, Workable)
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality standards
- Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and facilitating the onboarding process; post job openings on relevant platforms and assist in screening resumes
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks; address employee queries related to benefits and assist in the enrollment process
- Prepare HR-related documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and employment verification letters and maintain a well-organized filing system for HR documents
- Work with our Asst. Controller on weekly payroll, including auditing of employee attendance and timekeeping systems; address attendance-related inquiries and ensure accurate payroll processing. Support finance department in ensuring payments and reimbursements are paid out and payroll runs smoothly
- Handle basic employee inquiries and act as a point of contact for HR-related matters
- Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures as dictated by CEO; stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Ensure that all employees complete required safety and other training
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with project management tools (Asana)
