Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Have 3-5 years of experience in human resources, administration, or people operations
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Have experience using an HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Possess problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Be a French speaker, preferably based in Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire) with a solid level of English

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, conducting new hire orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees
  • Facilitate the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit meetings, organizing equipment returns, and ensuring the completion of all necessary paperwork
  • Maintain and update employee records in BambooHR and the Drive to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Ensure proper documentation of all people-related transactions, including promotions, internal mobility, and terminations
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, including health insurance, days-off allowance
  • Assist in the coordination of performance management processes, including monthly and quarterly performance reviews
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture, including organizing company events and team-building activities
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling interview meetings, handling confidential documents, and preparing people-related materials for meetings
  • Assist in preparing and distributing internal communications related to people policies and initiatives
  • Manage the office operations: liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
  • Maintain the filing, sharing and archives systems on both GDrive and Basecamp
