Summary

The job involves managing a HR department, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, payroll management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience as a corporate-level HR Manager or related experience, exceptional communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, familiarity with Federal and multiple state labor laws, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate-level Huma Resource Manager and/ or related experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Familiarity and experience with Federal and multiple state labor laws
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in collaborating with and/or serving a wide array of individuals from various cultural backgrounds
  • Experience working at a Japanese company or an understanding of Japanese business/HR is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Talent acquisition
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment plans
  • Design an effective talent acquisition plan and execute the plan through discussion with the president and other related group companies
  • Build efficient relationships with outside recruiters/headhunters to attract and hire qualified candidates
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and proactively update the regulations and procedure
  • Collaborate with administrate representative about a full cycle of the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding process
  • Stay up to date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance overall job satisfaction
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a healthy work environment
  • Partners with the leadership team to provide support and guidance when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
  • Bridge management, cross divisions, and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other measures
  • Analyze and revise the evaluation structure and related tools aligned with the company's business plan and needs
  • Conduct training for employees to ensure the knowledge and acknowledgment
  • Collect evaluations and file them in a file
  • Evaluate regularly the structure and update any related tools and regulations
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees
  • Encourage continuous learning and skills development to enhance employee capabilities, especially for supervisors and managers, as training grows with the employee numbers
  • Enforce mandatory training required by Federal and State compliances, and our headquarters and its holdings company
  • Understand and maintain employee’s profile and payroll record
  • Develop, Implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations to update policies and procedures accordingly
  • Keep the Employee Handbook up to date
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous exempt-level duties as assigned by management
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace
  • Maintains good communication with management, office staff members, and outside contacts
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures

  • Salary : $100,000 - $120,000 a year
