Join Datatonic as an HR Leader for EMEA, shaping and delivering our people strategy. You will enhance the employee experience, support business goals, and ensure compliance with local regulations. Youβll oversee key HR functions, from employee relations and compensation to performance and immigration, providing strategic guidance to managers. This role requires managing payroll, leading projects across learning, culture, and engagement, and ensuring compliance with local laws. You will work closely with the Global People Director and other teams to build and implement HR strategies. Requirements
- Familiar with UK employment law and any knowledge or experience working alongside teams in Spain, Sweden or Switzerland would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to independently prioritise your workload, covering several tasks/projects simultaneously, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A natural in creating a positive working environment and a strong inclination to support the team, pro-actively finding productive solutions to day-to-day needs
- Comfortable managing payroll with support from payroll partners
- Experience managing visas via UK Visas and Immigration and comfortable with the sponsorship process
- Highly organised & dependable person with strong self-sufficiency
Responsibilities
- Broad responsibilities across all aspects of the employee lifecycle ensuring good employee experience and adhering to relevant local laws in our various offices
- Work closely with the Global People Director to build and implement appropriate HR strategies that align with business objectives
- Ownership of employee relations, contracts, benefits, HRIS (BambooHR), absence management, compliance, grievances and disciplinaries etc for the UK and Europe regions
- Working closely with the Global People Director and others to build effective performance management and compensation strategies
- Provide guidance and support to Managers and key stakeholders on all HR-related issues
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the UK and Europe offices including Managing Directors, CFO, CRO as well as wider Finance, Delivery, Sales and Ops teams
- Ownership of our immigration responsibilities including managing existing visa sponsorships, as well as creating new ones
- Working closely with the People Team Coordinator to ensure appropriate onboarding and offboarding
- Ownership of policies and procedures across UK and EUR, maintaining existing policies as well as creating new ones where needed, with assistance from the People Team Coordinator
- Overseeing UK and Europe payroll, with assistance from the People Team Coordinator
- Ensuring compliance with local laws and creating/delivering training to staff where needed - for example, health and safety training, anti-harassment training etc
- Managing various People team projects which might include L&D, company surveys, training, events etc
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of G-Suite tools (Gmail, GoogleDocs, GoogleDrive etc) is preferred
