Summary

Join CouponFollow, a rapidly growing international e-commerce company, as their HR Manager! This full-time, remote or hybrid position based in Toruń, Poland, offers a competitive salary and flexible hours. You will be the primary point of contact for a 60+ person team of engineers and product managers, managing the entire contractor lifecycle and driving team development initiatives. This role requires at least 5 years of HR experience in IT remote-first environments and strong communication skills. You'll shape people operations and contribute directly to the company's growth. The position includes a generous training budget and benefits package.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles (particularly in the IT remote-first environments) with developing and implementing HR policies and procedures with HR systems (they use Recruitee as ATS and HubStaff for time tracking) and remote collaboration tools (as Google Workspace and Slack)
  • Knowledge of international labor laws and contractor management
  • Proven recruiting experience, preferably in IT teams
  • Ability to coordinate multiple HR initiatives simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work across distributed teams, particularly in English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offering candidates
  • Support and train managers in evaluating candidates effectively (e.g., bias awareness, active listening, non-violent communication)
  • Manage the hiring process and maintain the talent pools
  • Manage and execute comprehensive onboarding and offboarding programs
  • Contribute to long-term workforce planning
  • Maintain compensation and benefits structures suitable for a distributed workforce
  • Design and deliver training programs focused on professional development
  • Foster transparent communication across teams in remote locations
  • Ensure social connection through engaging different teams in team-building events
  • Contribute to the performance review process, including various feedback channels
  • Address conflicts promptly to maintain team harmony
  • Collaborate with managers to develop clear performance criteria aligned with company goals and values
  • Implement feedback systems to gather diverse perspectives supporting performance reviews for the crew
  • Directly manage the Office Coordinator, who handles team events and administrative tasks for the Toruń office
  • Oversee the organization of team off-sites and global summit events (along with the Office Coordinator)
  • Maintain accurate contractor documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Review submitted timesheets and work hours against any anomalies or discrepancies before processing monthly payroll for contractors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • PHR/SPHR (Professional in Human Resources/Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments
