Join us from Argentina, Brazil, or El Salvador! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Specialist to oversee, train, and lead facility HR Representatives. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations, managing payroll, benefits, and other HR functions across our facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of HR experience, with some US-based HR exposure required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plus
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and data management
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain level-headed in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently

Responsibilities

• Oversee and Train Facility HR Representatives: Lead, support, and train facility HR reps to ensure compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and consistency across all locations
• Payroll Processing: Handle payroll processing for all Cascades Healthcare facilities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Insurance & Benefits Administration: Enroll benefit-eligible employees in healthcare and other benefits. Manage payroll deductions, answer employee questions, and process COBRA submissions. Participate in open enrollment and reconcile monthly insurance invoices
• FMLA Administration: Provide FMLA paperwork to eligible employees and ensure continuity of benefits during leave by managing PTO exhaustion and related processes
• 401(k) Administration: Manage employee enrollment and administration of the 401(k) retirement plan
• Documentation & Compliance: Complete verification of employment, garnishments, and medical support orders as required
• Audits & Process Improvement: Perform regular data integrity audits and streamline HR processes to ensure uniformity and efficiency
• Other HR Duties: Assist with additional HR-related tasks and projects as assigned
