Summary

Join Sunrise as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and become a strategic partner to clinical and administrative leadership, ensuring HR practices support employee success and organizational goals. Collaborate across departments to address workforce needs, manage employee relations, and guide managers through performance, engagement, and compliance matters. Align HR initiatives with business objectives, proactively identifying and solving organizational challenges. Provide coaching and support to leaders on employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through collaboration with leadership and staff. Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws and internal policies. This remote position offers schedule flexibility and a competitive salary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (HR certification preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience; experience supporting healthcare or ABA clinical teams strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices across multi-state operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
  • Experience supporting change management, employee engagement, and policy interpretation

Responsibilities

  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives, proactively identifying and solving organizational challenges
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders on employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Support and guide documentation and performance management conversations
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through collaboration with leadership and staff
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, payer/credentialing requirements, and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as needed
  • Partner with the operations teams to ensure consistency in processes, including leave administration, accommodations, and corrective action
  • Facilitate or coordinate training sessions on topics like documentation, coaching, and employment law basics
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
