Requirements

  • Applicant must be set up to and be comfortable and confident working in a remote setting
  • Minimum 3-5 years human resource experience required

Responsibilities

  • Processes background checks and employment eligibility verifications
  • Collaborates closely with recruitment to ensure clear communication for candidates and hiring managers
  • Partners with recruitment for opportunities for process improvement from HR
  • Develops offers for new hires and facilitates promotions, changes, and transfers
  • Performs onboarding tasks for all new hires
  • Primary owner of new hire orientation
  • Conduct New Hire Manager training
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files in our HRIS E-Verify system
  • Performs offboarding tasks for all terminations including offboarding handshake call and facilitate feedback as necessary
  • Lead 15Five monthly review set up and management collaborating with team for input
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Finds ways to improve processes and procedures through automation, etc
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting and analytics as requested
  • Collaborates to create and facilitate companywide training
  • Provide and update weekly reports (new hire/off-boarding report, HR tenure report, and sales report for Finance)
  • Management of the HR ticketing system and renewal (SolarWinds)
  • Review and facilitate approval on HR’s end for role openings
  • Attends and observes in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations
  • Maintains excellent and timely communication to facilitate positive employee inquiries and foster relationships across the organization to support all departments
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory personnel training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local employment laws/regulations, and recommended best practices; while reviewing policies and practices to stay within guidelines
  • Keeps up with knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Professional Certification a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Lucid chart and any electronic employee files a plus
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Skillful interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Excellent in time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Experienced with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
