Join Onebrief's dynamic HR team as an HR Generalist! We're seeking two collaborative professionals to support our growing workforce. You'll work with the Head of HR on a full spectrum of HR activities, with specific areas of ownership. One role focuses on enhancing employee experience and culture, while the other centers on HR systems and processes. Both roles require 3+ years of HR experience and strong communication skills. Requirements
- 3+ years of HR experience, with expertise or interest in one or more focus areas
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a commitment to quality and detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in a remote environment
- Familiarity with HR systems, tools, and best practices
- Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to own day-to-day tasks and operational processes while still thinking critically about long-term, scalable solutions
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the onboarding process, ensuring new hires feel welcomed, prepared, and aligned with Onebriefβs mission
- Manage performance cycles, provide guidance to managers, and champion continuous feedback
- Develop and implement programs to boost engagement, foster a sense of belonging, and maintain a vibrant company culture
- Educate employees on policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, offering timely and empathetic support
- Work with finance on payroll processes and oversee employee benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist with annual compensation cycle
- Maintain and optimize HR systems to streamline workflows, ensure data integrity, and produce meaningful reports
- Assist with search and implementation for new HR tech
- Compile, analyze, and report HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions and strategic planning
- Ensure HR practices align with labor laws and regulations, staying proactive with updates and audits
- Support process improvements to create efficient and scalable HR operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a global workforce and knowledge of international employment practices
- Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
