Summary
Join 52TEN as their Human Resources (HR) Manager, a crucial role overseeing all aspects of HR for their growing manufactured housing and RV park operations. This independent role requires collaboration with various departments to support company growth. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, cultivate company culture, provide management support, and ensure employee well-being. The ideal candidate possesses extensive HR experience, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This remote position offers competitive salary, PTO, annual bonuses, and annual salary raises.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Have 5-7 years of experience in HR
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Have proven success working in all aspects of HR from hire to retire
- Have the ability to partner with and support employees at all levels in the organization
- Possess experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Google Suite
- Have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to travel quarterly for site visits to parks or as needed
- Be able to work remotely with provided tools and equipment
Responsibilities
- Manage and own the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
- Serve as the keeper of the company culture from hiring to retirement
- Serve as a strategic partner to management, providing HR guidance and support on employee-related issues and opportunities
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees seeking HR support and guidance
- Lead the selection, implementation, and management of employee benefits programs
- Lead the onboarding and offboarding processes
- Develop and manage the performance review process, including training managers on best practices for employee evaluations and feedback, setting and communicating goals, having development conversations, and communicating positive feedback
- Lead the selection, implementation, and management of an HRIS to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data management, as well as data-driven decision-making
- Manage leaves of absence, and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including handling workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and state-by-state growth compliance as the company expands across the US
- Partner with managers to create ongoing learning opportunities for all levels within the organization
- Process payroll through Gusto in the short term while helping determine a longer-term HRIS solution and transitioning the payroll function to the accounting team
Preferred Qualifications
Possess an HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
